Global Energy Center of Excellence

Situated in the "Energy Capital of the World," the Global Energy Center of Excellence trains and educates technically-skilled and safety conscious workers for the energy industry supporting the petrochemical, energy corridor and production companies in our region.

The Houston area is home to more than 3,700 energy-related companies, including more than 500 exploration and production firms, more than 150 pipeline transportation companies, 9 refineries, and the largest petrochemical manufacturing complex in the nation. The Global Energy Center of Excellence trains workers for each of these sectors.

Technological advancements in the industry as well as the great crew change driven by an aging workforce necessitate a next generation workforce and the Global Energy Center of Excellence addresses this need by training incumbents and potential new hires.
