Financial Aid Announcements

24-25 FAFSA Updates

The Department of Education has soft launched the 24-25 FAFSA application, students are encouraged to begin filing in February 2024. During the soft launch there will be periodic maintenance updates aimed at alleviating potential issues. Anyone that submits the 24-25 FAFSA during the soft launch will not need to resubmit once it ends.

If an application is actively in progress when a maintenance pause is initiated, the user will be able to complete their application. Those who have saved their application to resume later may lose their information. Users will not be able to begin an application during a maintenance pause or may encounter a waiting room feature that is used to control web traffic volume. If a student submits their 24-25 FAFSA application, they will not be able to make corrections to the application until after it has been processed.
