Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)

About the Quality Enhancement Plan
The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is to be developed in preparation for HCC’s 2022 decennial review of its regional accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). A QEP is (1) a topic identified through ongoing, comprehensive, and evaluative processes, (2) has the broad-based support of institutional constituencies, (3) focuses on improving specific student learning outcomes and/or student successes, and (4) commits resources to initiate and implement. The QEP is designed to positively impact student success (e.g., completion rates). The creation, implementation, assessment, and completion of the QEP is a requirement of accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The QEP is a carefully designed and focused course of action that addresses a topic or issue related to student success over the next 5 years. It is a commitment to improve student success outcomes critical to HCC’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.
