Houston Community College Central and Johnson Controls partnership is allowing HCC students to train for in-demand jobs in fields such as HVAC, fire, security and more.

The Houston Community College Central College will host the 2024 Spring Fashion Show on May 3. The event has the theme of Chromatique and will feature fashion visions from 14 graduating design students. Models will walk the runway at 7:30 p.m. at the William W. Harmon Building on the HCC Central Campus at 1300 Holman Street.

Christopher Daza of HCC Coleman College brings home the Texas Society of Radiologic Technologists educator award on April 12.

The event will display the diverse literary and artistic talent of the city, celebrating creativity and community, with approximately 30 exhibitors from HCC and the wider Houston literary and arts community.

As part of its Wellness Day, aimed at providing resources for a healthier lifestyle, HCC Central Campus celebrated two ribbon-cutting ceremonies – reopening the campus’ Eagle Market center and opening the Eagle Mile walk path.
