HCC Katy EMS program moves to Spring Branch

May 18, 2022

The HCC Katy campus Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program has moved from Katy to its new home at the HCC Spring Branch campus, just in time for the 2022 summer sessions.

Students will now be able to take basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) courses and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Paramedic 1 coursework at the Spring Branch campus, located at 1010 Sam Houston Parkway.

The EMS program prepares students to obtain basic, intermediate and paramedic certification. Students are prepared to enter the workforce as entry-level basic or intermediate medical technicians and Paramedic practitioners. Paramedic certification also allows students to obtain an Associate of Applied Science degree.

Since 1982, the HCC EMS program has prepared students for careers in EMS providing training to thousands of individuals. It is one of the most recognized and qualified programs in Texas for pre-hospital education.
