Why did you enroll at HCC Coleman College?
HCC has a high pass rate for the COTA certification examination. HCC comes with a history of great reputation and affordable learning, which was a magnet for foreign students like myself.

Why did you choose your program of study?
I witnessed first-hand the impact occupational therapists have on people who are ailing. My family member who was terminally ill had the biggest smile on his face and expressed the most joy when his OT sessions were scheduled. Witnessing those moments solidified my choice of the program to study.

What do you like best about your college experience?
The wealth of information that I am exposed to and the diversity of cultures on the campus is similar to the multi-diverse country I’m from.

What do you like best about your program of study?
I like learning a new skill from experienced and qualified lecturers. The program’s lecturers have brought the program to life, and I know I will make a great OTA because of the knowledge they are imparting unto us.

When you are tired, what motivates you to push forward?
My 3-year-old daughter. She gives me additional strength in the midst of it all.

What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
Do not take on problems on your own. The professors are always willing to help you. They believe in you and assist as best as they can.

Any final thoughts?
This honor has given me extra motivation to cross the finish line. COTA ... here I come!!!
