Division of Science and Engineering Technologies

The Division of Science and Engineering Technologies provides high-tech career and technical education related to planning, managing, and providing scientific research and technical services for energy, manufacturing, construction, medical, processing, chemical, petroleum, renewable, sustainable and related industries.

Formerly called the HCC Energy Institute, the Division of Science and Engineering Technologies addresses the critical shortages of qualifying technical personnel in science, engineering, and technology career fields. The division provides education and training to place students on a direct path to enter  the workforce or a four-year university.
